Filming Opportunity for Rescuers in the United States
Hey there,
I’m Cristian Ruben, the filmmaker behind iFilm Heroes: The Rescue Cat & Dog Filmmaker. I’m working on a new documentary series that will highlight rescuers working in overlooked areas, especially where media coverage is almost nonexistent.
If you’re a rescuer, feeder, TNR trapper, dog trapper, or advocate willing to share your story, I want to document your work and help bring you the support you deserve. Anyone with valuable information about rescue efforts, animal welfare, or solutions to the crisis is also welcome to be featured.
What I’m Looking For:
✅ 10 Locations – I want to capture real, life-threatening rescue situations. The more urgent and emotional, the better.
✅ Be Talkative & Informative – This is your chance to share your work. I’ll ask questions based on your responses to keep the conversation natural.
✅ Shelter Visits or a Rescue Visit – If you’re open to it, we can visit a local shelter or go on a rescue to show the realities of your work.
✅ Full-Day if Needed – Filming runs from 8 AM to 12 AM if needed, but we’re telling an important story, so flexibility is key.
✅Other Filming Stops: Open to visiting a rescue organization or a feeder/trappers/TNR/spay-neuter to show more of their work or even your involvement.
✅If a second day of filming is needed, it’ll be focused on deeper insights into your work.
A Few Filming Details:
🚐 Driving the iFilm Heroes Van – This is part of the story, as it shows the reality of rescue work on the road. However, if you’re trapping or feeding, you’re welcome to use your own vehicle so you can continue working while we film. If you choose to use your own vehicle, please make sure there’s enough space for me to bring my equipment.
Additionally, it would be helpful if you had someone to drive your vehicle while you’re riding in the iFilm Heroes van. This way, we can stay together on the road without interruptions to filming.
👕 What to Wear – A polo or button-down shirt is preferred (makes it easier to secure the mic, but not mandatory).
✅How You’ll Be Featured:
🔗 Social Media Links – Everything I film will include a link to your social media platform(s) of choice (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
🎨 Your Logo – If you have a logo, send it over before filming so I can include it in the film.
✅Who Can Back You Up? I’d love for you to introduce me to someone in your community who supports your work—a police officer, ranger, politician, or anyone willing to vouch for the importance of what you do, or what they do, or someone you admire in the community.
✅Other Filming Stops: Open to visiting a rescue organization or a feeder/trappers/TNR/spay-neuter to show more of their work or even your involvement.
If this sounds like something you’d be up for, let’s talk! Looking forward to working together to shine a light on your work and the incredible impact you’re making.
Reach out and let’s make it happen!
