We partner with passionate rescuers and nonprofits to document real stories from the front lines of animal rescue. If you’d like to be featured in an upcoming iFilm Heroes documentary, here’s how it works:

1 Watch the Film
Watch our current documentary on YouTube to understand the style, tone, and mission behind iFilm Heroes. This will give you a clear idea of what to expect.
2 Submit the Form Below
Complete the form with your information and a short description of your rescue work. We’re looking for honest, impactful stories that highlight the challenges and victories of saving animals.

3 Availability for Filming
If selected, you or a representative from your organization must be available for up to 10 days of filming. This allows us to capture your story in-depth and showcase your work authentically.

For a period of one (1) year from the film’s public release, the other party must agree to a 50/50 split of all donations raised through fundraising campaigns created and managed by iFilm Heroes. During this period, monthly payments will be made to the other party based on their share of the total funds raised. After the one-year period, each party may pursue independent fundraising efforts without obligation to share proceeds.

Once the film is published on YouTube and the one-year fundraising period has concluded, both parties shall retain equal rights to use the completed film for their own purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, promoting the film, sharing it publicly, or using it to independently raise donations.

iFilm Heroes will not provide a downloadable master copy of the film. After the one-year period, the other party may continue to share and promote the film using the official YouTube link provided by iFilm Heroes.

At iFilmHeroes, we believe that every animal rescuer has a powerful story to tell. We are passionate about capturing the raw, real moments of dog and cat rescuers in the trenches—those who dedicate their lives to saving animals in need. If you have a rescue story that deserves to be told, we would love to hear it. While we can’t film every submission, we carefully read and appreciate each one because every rescue matters.

1. Any Format, Any Length: Your story can be a written account, a video, photos, audio recordings, or even a combination of formats. We welcome all creative ways of storytelling!

2. Original Stories Only: We want to showcase real rescue stories, so please submit only your own experiences and avoid fictional accounts or stories involving characters from movies, TV, or books.

3. Your Voice Matters: Share your story in your own words. If someone is assisting you in writing or recording, make sure it still reflects your unique perspective and experience.

4. Real-Life Impact: Whether it’s a dramatic rescue, an inspiring transformation, or the daily struggles of animal rescue work, we want to hear about the moments that matter.
